Dolphin Posted 20 May , 2006 Share Posted 20 May , 2006 Fred Captain Norman Herbert England, and 2Lt Clifford Hackman of No 92 Sqn RAF, were killed in an accident while flying at 30 feet over Tangmere in Avro 504 B986 on 7 April 1918. The Avro collided with Sopwith Pup B5269, flown by 2Lt Victor Raleigh Craigie of No 92 Sqn, from Boston, Massachusetts, USA, who was also killed. I hope that this helps. Fred W Posted 21 May , 2006 Author Share Posted 21 May , 2006 Fantastic Gareth. This will be a great help to a friend of mine who is compiling a book on the pupils of The Knoll, a prep school that was at Aspley Guise from about 1892 to 1978. England attended from 1898 to 1900. Thanks a lot, Fred
