eskimo Posted 19 May , 2006 Share Posted 19 May , 2006 Hi Pals, I need some help I am researching a friends G Grandad, he showed me his medals BWM and VM tried all the usual avenues medal card ect, no info just Gloucester regiment not which one. His service number TF according to the Long long trail puts him in the 4th Battalion but I cannot find any info on this battalion, 2/4 yes, but know 4th. His details are:- Pte Frederick W. RICHINGS service number 203389. His number and medals suggest no service before Jan 1916. So I am a bit stuck, any help would be much appreciated. Regards eskimo.
