stiletto_33853 Posted 19 May , 2006 Share Posted 19 May , 2006 Hi Bernard, 1743 of the Kings Regs 1912 relates to the disposal of unclaimed medals stating "Medals which at the end of 10 years, still remain unclaimed will be sent to the deputy director of ordnance stores, Woolwich, to be broken up. (Army Order 340 of 1913) Retd = Returned CRV is the Certified Recepit Voucher with the number afterwards issued on 31-1-24. Possible that the recipient was no longer at the address the medals were sent to???. Hope this helps. Andy
