David_Blanchard Posted 24 October , 2019 Share Posted 24 October , 2019 The German rifle grenade battery that was responsible for the death of Lieutenant Pope in May 1916 must have been fairly active as Charles James Silsby Canadian Mounted Rifles was also killed by a rifle grenade on 26 April 1916 and is also buried here.
