Hi Ady

The Corps History 1902-1918 by Michael Young has it as

'Horse Tranport' branch.

Nothing in the index on Arcadian.

Hi Ady,

T4/ = Foremen; Gangers & Privates.

Information taken from 'More Sources of WWl Army Ancestry' by Norman Holding.

Dave, he gives T/4 as New Army Horse Transport; New Army Transport; Cooks & Batmen.

Regards

Arthur

Search the forum for Arcadian, there have been several threads on this ship / sinking.

My Grandfather served in the army during the Great War as a Royal Army Service Corps Driver, number T4/061684.

He was a civilian horse waggon driver before the war and an army horse waggon driver during the war.

Tony.
