Hello: I'am wondering if anyone would have and information on Camp Bramshott & Camp Witley - England. My grandfather was stationed at both in 1917 and would be interested in learning some history of the above two camps. Thanks to all. Sandi

Hi Sandi,

Canadian troops were based at Bramshott and Witley, both in Surrey (off the A3 London to Portsmouth road), in both wars. There is a Canadian Memorial Plantation of maple trees at Bramshott Common. A simple Google search on "Bramshott;Witley;camp" brings up a lot of information.

regards

Mick
