sandi Posted 15 May , 2006 Share Posted 15 May , 2006 Hello: I'am wondering if anyone would have and information on Camp Bramshott & Camp Witley - England. My grandfather was stationed at both in 1917 and would be interested in learning some history of the above two camps. Thanks to all. Sandi
SiegeGunner Posted 15 May , 2006 Share Posted 15 May , 2006 Hi Sandi, Canadian troops were based at Bramshott and Witley, both in Surrey (off the A3 London to Portsmouth road), in both wars. There is a Canadian Memorial Plantation of maple trees at Bramshott Common. A simple Google search on "Bramshott;Witley;camp" brings up a lot of information. regards Mick
