Frajohn Posted 5 May , 2006 Share Posted 5 May , 2006 Jimothy Not had any luck with Fred, tried various searches but drew a blank each time. Not sure if this is the same man, but in the 1901 census there is one Fred Mumby of the right age, born 1898. He was the son of John Mumby, who was a widow in 1901. Fred had a brother, George H and a sister Ada. John Mumby was born in Wrawby and the three children born in Elsham. regards John

Jimothy Posted 5 May , 2006 Author Share Posted 5 May , 2006 Thanks for all the information Pals, it all adds bits into the jigsaw. I'm not aware of an Albert Mumby being related to my man, but its a fairly common surname in Lincolnshire so who knows? I might come across him in due course, so I'll make a note of the info now. Thanks again.
