2Lt Charles Victor Hewson, from Gore Bay, Ontario, was flying RE 7 2192 of No 21 Sqn RFC when he was killed in action on 7 July 1916. He departed Fienvillers aerodrome on a bombing raid, and was last seen in combat with seven enemy aeroplanes over Marcoing Station at 1630. A victory was credited to a two seater crew from Kampfgeschwader 1, Ltn Willi Fahlbusch and Ltn Hans Rosencrantz.

I hope this is useful.
