I have 3 bound volumes of The War Pictorial, and on the front is printed "This volume is specially dedicated to private John Morely Nicholson of the 90th Battalion Canadian expeditionary Force" Glued inside the cover is a photo of a soldier, who I am presuming is John? Could any of you fine people spread any light on these publications...did families custom order the cover dedications, or were they mass produced with the same dedication?
