Hello

Can anyone confirm that the 8th Lincolns first landed in France on or around the 10/9/15?

11875 Pte Harold Hill of Skegness KIA 3/5/17 with the 11/EYR

11881 Pte William Cornwell Survived the war

12384 Pte John Fowler of Scunthorpe Pres Dead/KIA 26/9/15

Basically I am trying to find out if they were in the first/original contingent. 10/9/15 shows on all their MIC's.

This may help me with my Fam Hist project.

Rick

The regimental history says they arrived at Boulogne on 11th Sept.1915 after leaving Southampton.
