shinglma Posted 25 April , 2006 Share Posted 25 April , 2006 Hello I wonder if any of the Northumberland Fusilier experts can offer any information on this soldier. The origins of this post are a message from a lady in Western Australia posted to greatwar-l@rootsweb.com. Any members of this forum who venture there may have seen her post already. Specifically she is trying to establish the battalion that this soldier served with. A quick look on SDGW suggests to me that it may have been the 10th - all the casualties in the number range 244** belonged to that battalion. I am going to check the medal rolls for her at Kew tomorrow. However I know that there are some real Northumberland Fusiliers experts here and wondered if they could add any detail. Thanks in advance. Mike S
