Hello all

My mate's Great Uncle, Pte W Cash, C Coy, 2/4 Hampshires was KIA on 13 September 1918 during the battalion's attack on Havrincourt. He is now buried in RUYAULCOURT MILITARY CEMETERY.

He visited the Regimental museum last week and they copied details of the War Diary for him.

It gives the names of assembly positions that lay between Banbury Hill and Hubert Avenue (about Q.2.C.)

Bn HQ was given as K 32 C Junction of Hubert Avenue and Shropshire Reserve.

Knab Avenue is also mentioned and once in the village C Coy HQ was K 27 b 72.

Can anyone help me with a section of Trench map that has these locations on please.

Regards

Terry

P.s. I have had Trench map CD Rom upgrade from Naval and Military but cannot get it to run on my Windows XP!!
