tamos123 Posted 20 April , 2006 Share Posted 20 April , 2006 Hi All According to his MIC he started as a Pte in the Gordon Highlanders in 1915 and was awarded a pension for wounds in early 1918 presume after he was promoted. Duffus, Gordon Highlanders T.F., attached R.F.C. became an Assistant Gunnery Instructor (Graded as equipment Officer, Class II) from 5th June 1917, and appointed temporary Lieutenant. Promoted to Temporary Lieutenant 1st July 1917, and remained seconded to R.F.C. Employed as Gunnery Instructor (Graded as Equipment Officer, 1st Class) from 2nd November 1917, and now appointed Acting Captain. Steve. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
