Anthony Bagshaw Posted 14 April , 2006 Share Posted 14 April , 2006 Whilst out with my camera today i stumbled across the grave of this chap: Name: ARCHIBALD, GORDON KING Initials: G K Nationality: United Kingdom Rank: Brigadier Regiment: General Staff Secondary Regiment: Royal Army Service Corps Secondary Unit Text: and Age: 57 Date of Death: 28/12/1942 Awards: DSO Additional information: Served in the 1914-18 war. Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead Grave/Memorial Reference: Sec. A. Grave 2775. Cemetery: MANSFIELD (NOTTINGHAM ROAD) CEMETERY Not strictly The Great War but he did serve 1914-18.
