Graham Stewart Posted 12 April , 2006 Share Posted 12 April , 2006 Clifton, Can only give you Para's 94 & 94A of T.F. Regs 1912 amended to the 1st December 1914. Section 3.2 Officers;- Precedence. Para 94. - "The precedence of Officers in the T.F. is determined by their rank and the dates of appointment to that rank in the force; of officers of different units in the same rank, and appointed to that rank on the same date, by the date of their next lower rank; of officers in the same unit in the same rank, and appointed to that rank on the same date, by the order in which their names appear in the Army List." "An officer with continuous Regular Army and T.F. service will take prcedence within his T.F. unit in accordance with these rules, except that when he is serving with other T.F. troops, either alone or otherwise, he will take precedence in the T.F. according to the original date of the corresponding rank which he held in the Regular Army." Para 94A - "An officer transferred to another unit, or from the unattached list to the active list, will take that rank according to the date of appointment in that rank to such unit, except in cases(other than voluntary exchange or transfer) in which the Army Council may give an officer special precedence." "An officer of the T.F.Reserve on being called out for service and appointed to a unit, or on voluntarily joining a unit, will be placed at the bottom of his rank in such unit, and will take precedence from the date of appoinment notified in the London Gazette, or when not gazetted, from the date on which he assumed duty."
