marc glorieux Posted 5 April , 2006 Share Posted 5 April , 2006 Hi, Can someone let me know where the ASC - 594 MT was in Flanders during the days 11 sept. 1917 to 16 sept. 1917; and if possible, what happened there with them. I presume, 594 MT-Asc was attached to the X Corps Heavy Artillery, but I am not sure of it. Thanks, Marc
michaeldr Posted 5 April , 2006 Share Posted 5 April , 2006 Marc, You need to get a Pal to go to the National Archives for you to look at WO 95/877 which is the file for this company [info per Col Young's history of the ASC page 302] regards Michael D.R. Marc Just to expand a little on my reply above Young in his history’s Annex Q gives this company as Formed 4th Oct 1915 Disbanded 31st October 1919 On the Western Front he has them first with 2nd Corps Heavy Artillery and then with 10th Corps Heavy Artillery In each case he gives their role as the Corps Siege Park (MT) But alas he does not say when they changed from one corps to the other Hope that this is of some help Michael D.R.
