6th Shropshires Posted 2 April , 2006 Share Posted 2 April , 2006 Hi Are there any Warwicks researchers out there who could help me. There are about 70 or so men who transfered from the Shropshires to the Warwicks but after searching the M.I.C.'s on-line, there are a dozen or so men who only show up as Warwicks with no meantion of them being in the Shropshires also there were several blanks. Their Warwick numbers run from about 27776 to 27853. One day I will get to look at their medal rolls but have serveral hundreds of K.S.L.I. pages to collect first, so I was just wondering if anyone with a interests in the Warwick and who had copies of the Regiments Victory/British medal roll that hold the number meantioned above could confirm if the following men are ex-K.S.L.I. or fill in the blanks. 27778 Pte, Oakley 27788 Pte. Mivall 27790 Pte. Worall 27791 ________ 27792 Pte. Robinson 27793 Pte. Roberts 27797 Pte. Evans 27803 _________ 27804 _________ 27805__________ 27806 Pte. Kite 27810 Pte. Butler 27811 _________ 27812 Pte. Jones 27816 Pte. Price 27819 Pte. Wood 27822 _________ 27826 Pte. Brown 27828 _________ 27829 Bethel 27830 Roberts or Griffiths 27832 __________ 27833 __________ 27834 Wynn 27836 Jennings or Carpenter 27837 ___________ 27838 __________ 27839 __________ 27841 __________ 27842 __________ 27848 Pte. Bowen Any help would be greatfully recieved. Also while on the subject of Warwicks I have a list of 19 men who served in the Regiment from my local Absent Voters Lists, if anyone is interested.
