Remembered Today:

Warwickshires

6th Shropshires

Recommended Posts

Hi

Are there any Warwicks researchers out there who could help me. There are about 70 or so men who transfered from the Shropshires to the Warwicks but after searching the M.I.C.'s on-line, there are a dozen or so men who only show up as Warwicks with no meantion of them being in the Shropshires also there were several blanks. Their Warwick numbers run from about 27776 to 27853. One day I will get to look at their medal rolls but have serveral hundreds of K.S.L.I. pages to collect first, so I was just wondering if anyone with a interests in the Warwick and who had copies of the Regiments Victory/British medal roll that hold the number meantioned above could confirm if the following men are ex-K.S.L.I. or fill in the blanks.

27778 Pte, Oakley

27788 Pte. Mivall

27790 Pte. Worall

27791 ________

Also while on the subject of Warwicks I have a list of 19 men who served in the Regiment from my local Absent Voters Lists, if anyone is interested.
