Chris_Baker Posted 23 September , 2003 Share Posted 23 September , 2003 It is possible that this is mentioned in one of Peter Oldham's books. He specialises in the concrete constructions on the Western Front. I've just checked and it's not in his "Hindenburg Line" (well it wouldn't be, would it), part of the Battleground Europe series, but it may be in one of his others. Marco Posted 23 September , 2003 Share Posted 23 September , 2003 The best bet would be: Oldham, P. PILL BOXES ON THE WESTERN FRONT - A GUIDE TO THE DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION AND USE OF CONCRETE PILL BOXES 1914-1918. 1995, 208 pages, 25x18 cm., Leo Cooper. I'll have a look tonight to see if the mentioned pillbox is in it. Regards, Marco
