Picked up a lovely gong today at a local market., made out of a 1914 shell case (cartridge), enscribed with "HMS Pansy 1917 North Sea". See attached pictures.

Can anyone tell me anything about HMS Pansy?

Thanks a lot!

Close up.

HMS Pansy was a Flower Class, Fleet Minesweeping Sloop - hence the depiction of a mine on the top. She was completed in 1916 and sold in 1920.
