Tom

A misunderstanding. The site is not mine.

The SS ST Cecilia, 4,411 grt, hit a mine on 26th March 1916 4 miles from Folkestone laid by German submarine SMU UC6. She was carrying general cargo from Portland (Me) to London. Owned by Hogarth Shipping Co Ltd. No casualties reported.

Best wishes

Tom, I don't have any pics.

Suggest you have a look at the owners site: www.fotw.net/FLagS/gb~hfho.html and see if they have anything.

Best wishes

David
