Guest ian randall Posted 11 September , 2006 Share Posted 11 September , 2006 My Grandfather Jack Thomas Randall was on Hms Royal Oak as a stoker 1st class from 1st May 1916 -31 July 1918 again between 1st Aug 1918-31 Jan 1919 as acting leading stoker,then as leading stoker between 1 Feb 1919 - 14 Jan 1921. There was more than one ship of the name and if he served on the ship pre-WW1 it was not the same ship as described, 1892-1914 she was a pre-Dreadnought battleship. Any other ships on the list?
