My Grandfather Jack Thomas Randall was on Hms Royal Oak as a stoker 1st class from 1st May 1916 -31 July 1918 again between 1st Aug 1918-31 Jan 1919 as acting leading stoker, then as leading stoker between 1 Feb 1919 - 14 Jan 1921. He also did several stints on HMS Pembroke which was a training ship used for drill etc.

John,

What date did he serve on His Majesty's Ship Royal Oak? There was more than one ship of the name and if he served on the ship pre-WW1 it was not the same ship as described, 1892-1914 she was a pre-Dreadnought battleship. Any other ships on the list?
