Remembered Today:

German Casualty Clearing Stations.

In another thread I have been trying to find out about a British soldier who died of wounds in Danizy Casualty Clearing Station, which is in the area of La Fere, and is some distance from where his unit were fighting near to Poeuilly.

It was mentioned that this soldier might have been taken to the CCS behind the German lines on a Red Cross train.

It occurred to me that there might be a list of German CCSs.
