Steven Broomfield Posted 17 March , 2006 Share Posted 17 March , 2006 24th Bde, 8th Division, but the divisional history is absolutely no help at all. The div was in the line in the Bois Grenier sector, recuperating after the losses of the abortive Fromelles attack in May, and preparing for the offensive at Bois Grenier in September. July was so quiet, it appears, that the month doesn't even get a mention in the book. Sorry - I tried!
