Research at the Archives for Medal Roll

Anyone give me advice on who could research a soldier on the Medal Roll for me. I have his Medal Index Card & details but it does not state his Battalion number for 5264 Private Frank Nash , Royal Warwickshire Regiment. I do know that he didnt serve overseas until 1916 because he doesnt have the 1915 star, I do know he moved to the 29 Machine Gun Corps in early 1918 where he won the Military Medal, I have been trying to find out now for two years but with no luck, please, please can someone help, I am going to The 90th Anniversary of the Battle of the Somme in late June and would love to know his Battalion so I could trace his steps through this Battle,
