Can anyone help as im trying to research this soldier for a Friend.He is L. Corporal F.R.Garrett Regiment No: 2973 Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. He was awarded the military medal and was gazzeted on the 11/11/1916 however i can not find out why he was awarded the medal.I have been to kew and the only thing i can find about him is hes medical card.The relatives would dearly love to know what he did to be awarded his bravery medal.I no some of you have helped others in the past so your expertise would be appreciated many thanks Alan.
