Tony Lund Posted 10 March , 2006 Share Posted 10 March , 2006 Thomas R Walmsley, Sergeant (49872), Y/14th Trench Mortar Battery, Royal Field Artillery, Died on 3rd December 1917 The son of Police Sergeant and Mrs Walmsley of Lane End, Holmfirth, he volunteered on the outbreak of the war. Awarded Distinguished Conduct Medal 1917. I am looking for the usual place of birth, enlistment and residence if listed, but also kia or dow, and anything else given that is not listed above.
