HarryBettsMCDCM Posted 6 March , 2006 Share Posted 6 March , 2006 44th Brigade Royal Field Artillery,which formed part of a Brigade's Artillery strength{within a Division~see Long Long trail for in depth explanation of the rudiments of these} The numbers & letters are the Medal Roll page codes;these Roll pages can be accessed @ the National Archive & basically are the list of Men entitled to & awarded the Medals the card refers to,they do sometimes have a little extra information but not much.
