Please could anyone help me, I am trying to find out which Battalion my grandfather served in in the Great War. His service number was 5264, Private Frank Nash MM, RWR. Also any other info anyone might have about my grandfather would be fantastic. All i know is that he transfered to the 29th Machine Gun Corps in 1918 where he gained the Military Medal.

Thanks Mike

Thank you very much, however, i already have the medal card and it doesnt tell me which Battalion he was in, I do know that he does not have the 1914/15 star which means he served in france after 1 jan 1916
