Hi All

I dont hold out much hope for a reply on this as I only have vauge information to go on, but I have a relitive who according to his marriage certificate was a Cpl in thr 18th Hussars on the 1st of Jan 1914 and his address was given as Scalby barracks, Scalby Yorkshire. so I suspect that he may well have served during the war. His name was George Henry Cooke.

If anyone can help with any further information you have my thanks in advance.

Yours Chris

Chris

There's only one George Cooke shown in the MIC's (as far as I can see) with a connection to the 18th Hussars and it is this one Here

Hope this helps

Steve
