Dobrobbichop Posted 1 March , 2006 Share Posted 1 March , 2006 It's probably a needle in a haystack search. His rank is likely to be down as "gunner" , the Royal Field Artillery of "private"
Tony Lund Posted 1 March , 2006 Share Posted 1 March , 2006 If this man has nine children in 1923, it is reasonable to assume he was over twenty-one years old in 1918. That means he is almost certainly on the local Absentee Voters List for his home town for 1918. That should give you his name, rank, number, unit, and home address. If it has survived. Tony.
