Peter Beckett Posted 1 March , 2006 Share Posted 1 March , 2006 There are 12 soldiers listed as East Lancs who died. Out of these there is: Private Joseph Holt No 4757, born Colne, enlisted Burnley, 2nd battalion who died 9th May 1915 France/ Flanders Private Edward Leonard Holt No 5920, born Burnley, enlisted Bacup, 1st Battalion who died 3rd March 1914 France/Flanders There is no Ernest Holt listed in the East Lancs as having died. I will do a wider check but are these the 2 men you are researching? Peter
