l.harding Posted 28 February , 2006 Share Posted 28 February , 2006 I am trying to find any information about 2nd Corporal Frank Philpotts who died 1.11.1918, commemorated at Croix Churchyard. A Mr Paul Hickman bought some of his personal papers at an auction in Newent, Glos about 10 years ago and contacted members of Frank's family about them but unfortunately they have lost touch with him. As he was very interested in First World War memorabilia and even went out to see Fran's memorial, I am hoping he may see or hear of this request as I am writing the story of those servicemen, like Frank, who died from our parish. Thanks Lesley Harding
