Tony Lund Posted 28 February , 2006 Share Posted 28 February , 2006 I am looking for the place of enlistment, birth, and residence if shown for Fred Kaye, he was a Private (241925), 1st 5th Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers. Also whether he is kia or dow in case I don’t find it elsewhere. He died on Sunday 11th November 1917, aged twenty-one years. He was the son of W. H. Kaye, of Butterley Lane, New Mill. Near Holmfirth / Huddersfield. Many thanks, Tony.

Guest Shelley Williams Posted 28 February , 2006 Share Posted 28 February , 2006 That's quite sad, going by the date, another full year and the war would have been over. Arthur, do you have a link where that info came from, which site? Thank you, Shelley
