Hello GWF,

I'm very new to all this , but i've got the family tree bug and it won't go away.......

I need help or a point in the right direction, my grandfather never knew his father as he was born in Apr 1916 in a Mission of Hope Hospital (54 Leigham Court Rd Streatham), i believe it was a place for fallen woman to go and have babies out of wedlock because on his birth certificate the space for Father is blank. But on my Grandfather's marriage certificate though it states Frank Webb (Also) HM Army deceased.

Frank Webb isn't that common a name, but i know nothing else about him only that we think he died in the Great War.

Many thanks in advance

GW

Welcome to the forum, Interesting puzzle you have here, but not much to go on.

Do you have any other info on Frank Webb - a middle name, general area where he lived or was born.

Soldiers died cd lists a possible 16 names for Frank Webb. Need a little more info to maybe narrow it down.

Good luck

Glyn
