aconnolly Posted 24 February , 2006 Share Posted 24 February , 2006 Ady The NZ Rifle Brigade were involved in a massive effort to dig then bury cable prior to the resumption of the 3rd Ypres advance on 26 September. The Rifle Brigade were subjected to intense enemy artillery fire and took a lot of casualties. Seems likely your man was probably killed by this fire.
