Remembered Today:

War Diary of Gordon Highlanders

Lost in Tilloy

Hi

I'm trying to fill in a service record gap for Major John Wood Adams. I know that he served with the 6th Royal Scots until June 1916 and I also know that he died on the 3rd of September 1917 whilst acting Lieut-Col of the 65th Coy Chinese Labour Corps.

His obituary mentions that he was attached to the Gordon Highlanders inbetween serving with the Royal Scots and the Labour Corps but it doesn't say which battalion of the Gordon Highlanders he served with.

Does anyone have access to any Gordon Highlander War Diary's [between June 1916 and Sept 1917] that might mention his arrival and departure?

Regards
