Guest Hedger Posted 20 February , 2006 Share Posted 20 February , 2006 I would be grateful for any information on the RGA 213th Siege Bty. My Grandfather Bombardier Arthur John Berkelmans was serving with them. He died on 23 October 1917 and is buried at Lijssenthoek Military Cemetary, which I believe was a hospital at that time. essdee Posted 20 February , 2006 Share Posted 20 February , 2006 Hedger Here are a couple of bits that should be of use. The following is a refence for a war diary held at the National Archives in Kew, Surrey. If you can't get there to make a copy they will, for a fee, copy the pages you want and post them on. WO 95/541 213 Siege Battery Royal Garrison Artillery 1917 Feb. - Dec Stuart

I have requested relevant copies from the National Archives and will be most interested in what they may produce. Hedger
