Soldiers Exploit

The capture of twenty-nine German prisoners, including an two officers, by a young soldier of the King's Liverpool Regiment, who was formerly employed at Compton House Liverpool, is mentioned briefly in a letter just received from the front. The hero of the exploit is Private James Jones, son of Mrs Meredith Jones, of Gwernymynedd, near Mold and a nephew of Mr E Griffiths Eagles Hotel, but the circumstances in which the capture was made are not related
