It is interesting to note that the veteran in questions service record is listed on the reverse of the pipe. I wonder if he survived the war? Sadly the helmet on the top is corroded and I am unable to lift the lid......I`m a little frightened of breaking it. I can see the tobacco through the other end. Steve.
