Guest Junior Posted 17 February , 2006 Share Posted 17 February , 2006 267681 Private HARRY HAMLET 1st Bn., The Loyal North Lancashire Regiment who died age 36 on 10 September 1916 This is my Great Uncle Harry whom my Father was supposed to be named after. He was never mentioned by my dad but he turned up in my research for my family tree. He is Commemorated at Middleton, near Manchesters war memorial among many who died that year. Just a shame we have no photographs, unfortunately they where burned by a non member of our family on my Aunts death. At 36 he must have been a regular or maybe not.
