Chappell, R.F.A. ("E." London). For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty during a long period. He carried out his duties with great energy and skill, and set a splendid example to his men. But to be totally honest, this time, I was looking in the wrong months thinking the LG would have had the citation before my local rag.
