bcarleton Posted 7 February , 2006 Share Posted 7 February , 2006 Found this headstone in Selgrave last fall and while the information doesn't sound like WWI era, it was located in an old church cemetary containing many WWI era stones. Just thought I'd post it in case anyone has any insight.
Dolphin Posted 7 February , 2006 Share Posted 7 February , 2006 Member Lillian Anne Maria Taylor (12942) died on 6 November 1918. She was one of 5 WRAF personnel to die in the UK that day (perhaps the pneumonioa pandemic was the cause). I hope this helps Gareth
Terry Denham Posted 8 February , 2006 Share Posted 8 February , 2006 The WRAF was formed on 01.04.18 along with its parent, the RAF, so there was WW1 service.
