Tony Lund Posted 6 February , 2006 Share Posted 6 February , 2006 Willie Harewood, 2nd 7th Battalion, Duke of Wellington’s West Riding Regiment. Private 306774 Enlisted Liversedge Residence Cleckheaton KIA F&F 3/5/17 186th Infantry Brigade, 62nd Division. I think you will need to check the CD for the rest, surprisingly that is the only one I can see in the book, I would have expected more from the Duke of Wellington’s Regiment. Battalions from the West Yorkshire Regiment (185th Brigade), the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry and the York and Lancaster Regiment (187th Brigade) were also at Bullecourt with the 62nd Division that day. Hi Tony just used the above info on CWGC they are all 62 Div PWO Yorkshires and a couple of 2/6 West Ridings Bullecourt seemed a worse day for Cleck than 3rd Sept. Cheers Ady.
