Duckies Posted 14 May , 2006 Share Posted 14 May , 2006 For anyone interested in Dreadnought, there's a four-page supplement in Navy News' February edition on the ship, her launch, and Anglo-German naval rivalry. Hi this is my first post .... Yes I am interested in the Dreadnought as my Gt uncle William Arthur Bennett was on that ship when he married in 1917 . I dont have much info on him bar the fact he was in the RMLI from the start of the war . Look forward to hearing from you Duckies
per ardua per mare per terram Posted 14 May , 2006 Share Posted 14 May , 2006 Welcome to the forum Duckies The service registers for the RMLI are held at Kew in their series ADM 159. You need to know his division and service number, the easiest way to find that is on the medal roll in the Kew series ADM 171. Both series of documents are off line.
