Malcolm Posted 7 September , 2003 Share Posted 7 September , 2003 As long as he doesn't order frontal assaults on impregnable positions I'm easy on this. What happens when he gets a Field Marshall's Baton??? Aye Malcolm
HERITAGE PLUS Posted 7 September , 2003 Share Posted 7 September , 2003 There is no truth in the rumour that we are now to armed with Bows and Bricks however it is true that he is a very knowledgable officer and gentleman. Well done Ian.
Guest Ian Bowbrick Posted 11 September , 2003 Share Posted 11 September , 2003 I wondered what everyone was talking about and then realised. 'Being' a 'General' on something to do with WW1 could be regarded as a bit of a back handed compliment! If I was in any position to give an order ( ) it would be for everyone to wear pink trousers at the next get together so there would be no problem with recognition - that goes for the ladies as well Ian (& speckled Jim)
