themonsstar Posted 4 February , 2006 Share Posted 4 February , 2006 Hi All I got this photo and box in Munster Germany in the 1980s. In the box was this note in German, This is what it get it to. This is just an empty cigar box, but it possesses the privilege once to have witnessed glamorous times, and it would be very proud as it has confessed to me, to be able to see the 1st July 1963 (in 1 1/2 years) the 150th Anniversary of its old Regiment. Whether there are any other boxes the same still existing it does not know, there definitely will not be many. Therefore it is not impossible that it is the only veteran of its gender of 1913, which is the reason why it asks for very careful handling.
