Terry Posted 6 September , 2003 Posted 6 September , 2003 I have noted that on the badge of the Scottish Rifles (Cameronians), the right hand wreath (if that is the correct terminology) on some badges is considerably more narrow than the left hand wreath. On other badges each side looks pretty well balanced. Is there any difference in the two? Which would have been appropriate for the 1914-18 period?
Guest Hill 60 Posted 7 September , 2003 Posted 7 September , 2003 Terry - I've noticed that badges worn by sergeants seem to have a slightly larger right-hand sprig of thistles. I think they had a slightly different style of badge to the officers & O/Rs.
