I'm looking for any suggestions on where i might finds records of an inquest into the Suicide of the man below.

Colour Sergeant 4344 Adam Douglas

1st Battalion Royal Scots

died 25 August 1911 in Allahabad

Cause of death : GSW

Informant : Major R A Cunningham, RAMC, CONDG? Station Hospital Allahabad

Finding of court of Inquest : Suicide whilst temporarily insane.

This info was pased to me by a relative researching the family history as well, apparently he was my 2nd Cousin twice removed, i have no record of him as yet. I've found nothing on procat to suggest there may be files at the NA, i doubt if any Attestation records survive, attestions i believe only survive if the soldier recieved a pension, and are in the Royal hospital Chelsea records, i cant find any records of musters that late.

so any suggestions on where i might find more on him or the inquest / inquiry into his death, would be helpful - am i missing something at the NA? hope somebody can help at the moment this is a brick wall.

Regards Ian.
