Frederick Edwin Charles Aplin 41080 6 Bn Dorsetshire Regiment Born 1898 Weymouth, Dorset. Granddad survived the war and died in 1980. I'm one of the unlucky 60% whose relatives service records did not survive the WW2 destruction.
