Anyone know what/where/when were the ships ANTRIM, SHANNON, and ACHILLES during WW1?

Cheers,

Duncan.

My grandfather served on HMS Shannon from 25/10/1914 - 12/04/1917 I have a copy of the Gun's crew taken during that time together with a copy of the postcard they sent to their families during the battle of Jutland. If this is of any interest E mail me at Jacqueline.Oldman@ofsted.gov.uk and I will forward you copies.

Regards

Jackie

What is your interest in the ACHILLES?

My gfthr served on her from about March 1916 to after the Armistice. With the exception of the LEOPARD incident and the knowledge that she missed Jutland due to being in refit, I know very little about her war service hence my interest in whether you have information that may be of interest.

Thanks and regards.
